National Apprenticeship Week shines a light on future technicians and engineers as well as the courses, teachers and employers that prepare them for success. Ryan Green is a Mechanical Senior Apprentice at SPIE UK.

I have worked with SPIE for nearly 3 years and have studied pipe fitting HVAS for 2 years and now I have moved on to study welding.

I wanted to learn a trade. When a close friend who worked at SPIE told me about this opportunity, it sounded really interesting and when I looked the company up online, I wanted to discover more. I looked into all of the roles and job positions within the company and decided that I should apply to be a Mechanical Apprentice to then become a Skilled Mechanic.
