Maryhill Housing Association awards SPIE UK Glasgow Door Entry Contract

SPIE UK, a division of the Imtech Group, has been appointed by Maryhill Housing Association – a charitable, community-based housing association operating in Maryhill and Ruchill in northwest Glasgow, to service and repair the door entry systems across their estate.

SPIE UK will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs of door entry systems to over 300 properties in Glasgow. Within the scope of work, the properties under the project include low rise and high rise multi storey blocks. The framework contract has been signed for an initial 36 months, with the option to extend it by a further 24 months.

The Maryhill Housing Association owns over 3,100 homes which include tenements, retirement housing and multi-storey apartments. The association undertakes a significant amount of regeneration activity to ensure that properties in Maryhill and Ruchill are maintained at a high standard for tenants. SPIE UK was chosen due to the team’s ability to deliver a tailor-fit solution that ensures the properties are properly protected with the emphasis placed on providing cost effective solutions utilising the latest technology with an impartial approach to product selection.
