This year's theme for the event was Innovations and Better Life for Future Generations. Often when we think of innovation, we consider technology first. However, building urban spaces that are sustainable will require more than technological ability. Flexible and innovative policy and planning that can meet people's demands will be as valuable as innovative technology.
