Kirklees Schools

SPIE is currently contracted to provide total facilities management services across 19 PFI schools throughout the Kirklees area in West Yorkshire.

SPIE’s proven track record in the education sector is testament to its success in developing clear, concise and transparent communication with the headteachers, governors, clients, teachers, and, where appropriate, pupils at these schools. Fundamentally, this has allowed the key stakeholders’ needs to be considered when planning the delivery of work, to ensure minimal impact on the learning environment.

In turn, each school is confident that they can depend on SPIE to maintain a functioning, comfortable and safe environment for the staff and students, whilst delivering the flexibility necessary to support their day-to-day needs. It is also through these partnerships that SPIE has continued to deliver numerous refurbishment and M&E projects across the contract.

SPIE also has specialist skills and expertise to safeguard the health and welfare of staff and students by providing legionella and asbestos monitoring as well as life safety systems. Ultimately, SPIE is always on hand to help with any issues that occur and understand that providing a learning environment that all users benefit from is what above all enables the students to excel into their future.
